Grants

LPD’s Grants Program will operate as a multi-year program providing up to sixty (60) grants, each to be implemented for a period of between one (1) and three (3) years. Funding opportunities will be available in tiers corresponding to the type of partnership, applicants’ present capacity, and other factors. Each opportunity will contain its own eligibility requirements, funding limits, target groups and application deadlines, and will specifically address customized technical assistance, mentorship, coaching towards institutional strengthening and/or other organizational development mechanisms.

Applicants will be invited to apply for funding via Requests for Applications (RFAs), which will be published at several intervals throughout the year. Information about grant RFAs will be published on this page and announced through various media.

the government entities that work with one or both groups will comprise most of the remaining grant funds. Grants will also be provided to facilitate collaborative action that takes place across sectors and organizations, with a focus on citizen security. In addition, a special fund will provide support for initiatives that are aligned with LPD’s objectives and facilitate quick response to unusual circumstances with expedited procedures.
